Thailand: a busy summer holiday

Updated: Jul 26

The summer holidays in Thailand were an opportunity for the formation and pastoral teams of the Sisters of the Infant Jesus to organise two meetings. The aim was to spread the Good News.

The first was a catechism camp held in the parish of the Cathedral of Saint Raphael in Surat Thani, a town in southern Thailand. Fifty-four people took part: eighteen catechists, two Sisters of the Infant Jesus and Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

A few weeks later, the ‘ I love Infant Jesus’ campaign was led by the Sisters of the Infant Jesus, three young professed sisters and two young researchers. The meeting took place in two parishes in the north of Thailand and was attended by sixty people.

According to all the participants, the meetings were very profitable and strengthened their faith!
