The International Day for Consecrated Life was celebrated, as it is every year, on 2 February. Wherever they could, our sisters took part in the events and ceremonies. Here's a non-exhaustive tour of Asia and Africa!
At the invitation of the Association of Major Religious Superiors of Thailand, our sisters joined other members of religious congregations for Adoration of the Holy Eucharist, listening to testimonies of the lives and the journey of faith and hope of the 8 Blessed of Thailand, at St Peter's Church, Sam Phran, Nakhon Pathom (a few kilometres west of Bangkok). Mgr Peter Bryan Wells, Apostolic Nuncio to Thailand, then shared the Dilexit Nos message.
In Africa too, our sisters shared the general fervour and joy at official ceremonies, espacially masses and celebrations organised by the Archdioceses of Jos (Nigeria) and Bamenda (Cameroon).
